Time Waits For No One ~ A 100-word essay
69
I saw a friend tonight and she had her baby girl with her. I realized I’ll never be someone’s mom. I’ve thought about it before. It’s not something I dwell on. Years ago, I wanted a baby and was willing to do anything to have one, but my desire to have a child died when my mother died. She was a wonderful mother and I knew with her help, I’d be a great mother, too. Time changes things. Death changes things. Moral of this story? Live your life. Have babies. Time waits for no one.

Eclecticfusion, I have been with my wife and we made a decision 30 yers ago to not have children.
we are very happy together and because of our mutual understanding we now have everything we wanted and we have numerous neices and nephews from family. The lord works in mysterious ways.
Great Advice on life to the younger generation,
This was so lovely it made me teary eyed. After one stillborn and one just lost I knew I would never be a mommy. Time heals all and with the Lords help we go on and now I'll tell you I enjoy life, my husband and I are soulmates and have love to carry us on. He has two grown children from his first marriage so we don't lack for anything and I thank the Lord for that everyday.

Thanks for sharing your pain. I hope you receive joy from family and friends. I tried for years for a 2nd child and they never came and felt lost but now I am eternally grateful for the blessing of the one son who now has blessed me with 2 beautiful grandsons. Always cherish every one in your life from parents, nieces, nephews, and friends.
